Hello Swim Families,
We are planning to attend a long course training meet in Grande Prarie. The meet is January 17-18 it is a timed finals meet with 3 sessions. Meet package attached.
This meet will be mandatory team travel in order to make it feasible, keep costs down and not require multiple parents to drive to Grande Prarie.
We have secured a large 53 passenger bus with wifi (for those that will be required to do homework).
The plan would be to leave Red Deer at 7AM on Friday January 16 and return approximately 9PM Sunday evening January 18.
We would be staying at the Western Budget Hotel (Cameron Grant family owns). There are small kitchens available.
Food will be catered meals with a continental breakfast (there may be a hot breakfast available at that time...Hotel will confirm closer too date).
The exact cost is not available as it will be determined on the number of swimmers that go; but estimated costs are 600/swimmer. If all night invited swimmers attend , if this will be cheaper. But we wanted to error on the side of higher than lower.
The chaperons are Jennifer and Mike Milman.
