_WHY I COACH:

Swimming has always been an important part of my world. Competitive swimming began for me at the recommendation of a Respiratory specialist concerned with helping me with my asthma. The sport became very important to me as it taught me commitment, discipline, time management, how to win, how to lose, to set goals, to achieve goals, and allowed me to travel all over the country and meet new friends. This sport has allowed me to go to University, move to different communities, and work with many different kinds of athletes and coaches. I have learned that the sport itself is ever changing. It has taught me to be constantly learning and observing my peers so I can help the next generation of the sport be the best they can be. Oh… and it helps that the kids I coach are crazy, funny, and always give me their best efforts!!
